After yesterday we deserve an easier day's riding, and after breakfast we strike out across the Rioja valley heading West.

We'll ride through some of the biggest wine-producing villages in Spain. A good opportunity to stock up if you're thinking to take home some splendid, affordable wine.

We'll probably make time for a visit as well as having lunch at the wine museum in Briones, and if the schedule permits, a visit to the reknowned Luis Cañas bodega, an unforgettable experience!

To finish our adventure we'll then start heading Southwest towards -by now- familiar Ezcaray. The Palacio Azcarate won't disappoint and the ever ingenious Armando presents us with a totally different selection for our final supper together.
